What's Happening at the Montshire

Join us each month for an up close look at one of the Montshire’s live animals.

Animals Up Close: Leaf Cutter Ants

Celebrate the first year of our leaf cutter ant queen and colony by visiting one of the Montshire’s favorite exhibits from home. Get an up close look at soldier ants, see workers cutting leaves, and take a peek at the ants’ fungus garden.
