Programs for Children and Families

Whether you’ve decided to homeschool, participate in your school’s remote learning program, or simply want to enrich your child’s engagement with STEM learning, the Montshire Museum of Science is here to support you with diverse opportunities for hands-on inquiry-based science learning!

Some programs require pre-registration and a fee is charged. Programs are taught by the Montshire education staff. Need-based scholarships are available.

TogetherTime Tales

Read & Explore! Every Thursday a museum educator will lead a group of early learners and their caregivers first on a reading adventure, and then an activity related to the story. Activities involve arts and crafts as we explore science and engineering. Learn More

Science Yoga

This full-body, playful program combines body awareness with an introduction to early science topics ranging from dinosaurs to planets. Feel free to BYOYM (bring-your-own-yoga-mat) or borrow one of ours. Learn More
