Science Stories: Creating a Podcast

On July 20, 2019, the world will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of human’s first steps on the moon. Join us the week leading up to Montshire’s own celebration of the historic NASA Apollo 11 mission to create a series of youth-powered podcasts about space and human exploration. Using the tools of audio journalists and podcasters, learn how to create a radio story from start to finish, from recording interviews and editing your audio to using historic audio files and producing your own podcast. We’ll interview our Upper Valley neighbors, scientists, and engineers to weave together stories focused on scientific exploration, the future of space travel, and personal memories from the past historic events. The podcasts we create will be shared with the public at the Museum as part of our 50th Anniversary celebration of landing on the moon July 20th.

Fee: Members: $310, non-members: $350

Time: 9am–3pm
