Colored filters change the apparent color of what we!re viewing

Is the chameleon striped or spotted? It depends on whether you are looking at it through rose colored glasses or not! Looking through colored filters alters how our eyes detect different colors in an image. The painted chameleon contains areas of both green and red, and by looking at it through different viewing filters, some of its colors will seem to disappear. A label with an explanation of color blindness further describes how color and sight are related.
