Homeschoolers Series:
Geology Rocks (Ages 6-8)
The museum’s rock collection will be the focus of this four-week series on Earth Science. We’ll explore the formation of igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks as we study the rock cycle, weathering and erosion, and plate tectonics. Students will get to use tools from microscopes to identification keys, maps to models.
