Programs at the Museum
The Montshire Museum of Science offers unique programs to enrich your family’s homeschool curriculum with opportunities for inquiry-based science learning. Through these multi-week drop-off programs, a small group of learners will engage in hands-on, creative exploration of science, technology, engineering, math and the arts at the Montshire.
All programs will accommodate current guidelines of mask-wearing, social distancing, healthy hand hygiene, as well as individual use and sanitation of materials and supplies.
Virtual Workshop Series
Multi-Week Virtual Workshops designed to engage learners in hands-on inquiry-based science at home. Participants each receive a kit of uniquely chosen materials and supplies that support weekly inquiry-based activities focused on a STEM content theme. Montshire Educators provide live, on-screen engagement, where children are encouraged to share in their learning process and make discoveries with fellow learners, as well as weekly activities and prompts for off-screen exploration and extension of learning.
