Tessellations
(Virtual Family Science Workshop)

Take part in 90-minute family workshops for children 6-12 years old and their caregivers. Even extended families in multiple locations can participate!

During the workshop, a Museum Educator will lead learners through activities via Zoom. Each workshop will cover a unique science topic.

Tessellations are beautiful mosaics of repeating images that fit together like puzzle pieces. Ranging from simple shapes to complex and creative figures, tessellations provide an accessible entry point into complex geometry. Design your own tessellations and use them to create beautiful patterns.
