Nature Inspired Design
for Homeschoolers Ages 6-8

The Montshire offers unique programs to enrich your family’s homeschool curriculum with opportunities for inquiry-based science learning.

Through these multi-week drop-off programs, a small group of learners will engage in hands-on, creative exploration of science, technology, engineering, math and the arts at the Montshire.

All programs will accommodate current guidelines of mask-wearing, social distancing, and healthy hand hygiene.

Come ready to explore inside and out, using the Montshire’s teaching collections, 110 acres, and your creativity to engineer mechanisms and structures inspired by nature. Lessons will focus on concepts about plant and animal adaptations and natural phenomena, which will be used to guide the activities.
