The Art of Ikebana

Tuesday, October 6, 1pm via Zoom

Join the Hanover Garden Club at the Montshire for the program, The Art of Ikebana, with Kaye Vosburgh

Kaye Vosburgh will introduce Sogetsu Ikebana with a lesson for beginners, followed by freestyle arrangements that are creative and express the artists’ ideas. The Sogetsu School was the first to break away from the traditional rule driven arrangements. Love of plant material and nature is still a central theme.

Kaye is a Sogetsu Ikebana teacher of the highest rank. She has been teaching Japanese flower arranging for 31 years. She is also a judge in the National Garden Clubs and instructs design and procedure for Flower Shows to the incoming judges. Kaye delights in sharing creative moments with others.

This program will be conducted on Zoom.
