Take part in 75-minute family workshops for children 6-12 years old and their caregivers. Even extended families in multiple locations can participate!
During the workshop, a Museum Educator will lead learners through activities via Zoom. Each workshop will cover a unique science topic.
Create a fantastical hat, a crazy mask or cool costume with upcycled materials like cardboard, wrapping paper, ribbons and bows. Imagination, engineering and sustainability meet in this workshop to reuse old materials, learn some useful techniques, and create something new!
Materials Needed:
- Cardboard
- Boxboard (like an empty cereal box)
- Tape
- Scissors
Optional Extras: colorful paper, markers, ribbons.
