Drop by to meet Simone Whitecloud, PhD, Research Ecologist, and Nicole Wuerslin, Biologist, who will share their work understanding Arctic plants. Dr. Whitecloud has documented plant uses in Southern Greenland for her PhD work and is currently at the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory where she and her colleagues study Arctic wetlands and plant communication. Ms. Wuerslin has developed methods for growing Arctic plants in the greenhouse to enable year-round, local study of Arctic species.
