Designated parking spaces close to the building are available in our parking lot.
The Museum’s first and second floors and bathrooms are entirely wheelchair accessible. The second-floor may be reached by elevator. Several outdoor exhibits and walking trails in the Quinn Nature Preserve are wheelchair accessible with assistance.
If needed, an adult-sized wheelchair is available to borrow on a first come, first served basis. Please see our Admissions Desk for more information.
Sensory supplies are available for those who may need them:
- Noise-canceling headphones
- Various fidgets
- Weighted lap pad
- Therapy balls
Guests may borrow these supplies from the Admissions Desk. All supplies are available on a first come, first served basis and must be returned to the Admissions Desk before the end of the day.

Special admission and membership fees are offered to low-income families through the Warm Welcome program.
The first and second floors of the Museum are stroller accessible. Please note: the Montshire’s Coat Room is currently closed and in-museum personal storage is not available.

Restrooms are located on the first floor and are wheelchair accessible.
First Aid Kits are available throughout the museum. If you would like access to one, our floor staff can direct you to the closest one.
