The Montshire was closed to the public for three and a half months during the spring, eliminating our daily sources of operating revenue. The Montshire responded to the public health crisis by harnessing the creativity of our team to devise new outdoor experiences, develop virtual programs and online resources, and design no-touch and low-touch exhibits for our visitors. We reopened to visitors on July 1, 2020 with a wonderful outdoor experience and indoors on October 7, 2020. The Museum continues to be impacted by travel restrictions and state protocols to keep our visitors safe. With the loss of admission fees, program fees, retail sales, and special events, charitable donations are needed now, more than ever. Please consider a gift to the Montshire to help us continue to weather this crisis.
