Weaving Strands of Knowledge: Connecting Culture and Science to Climate Change
Kim has worked in the field of education for over twenty years, as a classroom teacher, administrator, and Head of School, with a focus on building communities driven by a cohesive and supportive mission. She believes that community and student engagement begins with cultivating conversations that support inquiry, experiential learning, action, and application.
She is enthusiastic about working on the Weaving Strands Project with the Montshire Museum through logistics planning, supporting the interaction between two cultures and the collaborative process of conversation around climate change. Through the voices of a community, a civic and sustainable approach to our environment can be applied by progressive policy change, understanding the factions involved and actionable reform.
