Elementary Students and Climate Change - Exploring the Poles

Register Online
We’ll use the Arctic and Antarctica as starting points for introducing climate change into your elementary classroom.

Using a combination of student friendly table top models, maps, and apps you’ll explore how polar scientists study our changing world. You’ll also have the chance to meet polar scientist Nick Wright for an introduction to what lab and field work in the Arctic look and feel like.  Leave with activities you can use in your classroom, stories you can share with your students, and a deeper understanding of how climate change is impacting polar systems.

For teachers in grades 2-6
