The Montshire offers programs and special days for homeschoolers to explore science in unique and fun ways. Homeschool groups are also invited to schedule their own group visit and a staff-led workshop.
Organize a ‘school visit’ to the Montshire, sign up for special Homeschoolers’ Days and workshops, or visit on your own.
Become a Montshire member and visit the Museum as often as you like.

Explore our local aquatic world in this three-week series.
Using microscopes students will learn about the aquatic insects and invertebrates found in ponds. Students will also be introduced to the many vertebrate species that live in our local ponds and streams such as frogs, salamanders, turtles and fish.
Mondays, April 29, May 6 and 13
10:30 am - noon for ages 6-8
1-2:30 pm for ages 9-12
