Hanover Garden Club: Ecological Gardening with Charlie Nardozzi

Everyone wants to garden more in tune with Nature. Charlie will talk about ways to build the soil without harming soil creatures and the importance of protecting the soil. He’ll also discuss cover cropping and companion planting as ways to grow plants with less work as well as dive deep into companion planting schemes to reduce pest insects and diseases in the garden.

Charlie Nardozzi is a regional Emmy® Award-winning garden writer, speaker, radio, and television personality. He has worked for more than 30 years bringing expert gardening information to home gardeners through radio, television, talks, tours, on-line, and the printed page. Charlie delights in making gardening information simple, easy, fun, and accessible to everyone. He’s authored seven books, including his latest, The Complete Guide to No-Dig Gardening (Cool Springs Press, 2021). He has three radio shows in New England and a TV show on the CBS affiliate, WCAX -TV in Burlington, Vermont. He gives talks around the country and also leads garden tours to Italy, England, Portugal, and other regions.
