What's Happening at the Montshire

Explore force and motion as we apply scientific principles of equilibrium, stability, center of balance, and gravity to our focused engineering and tinkering time together.

Homeschoolers Series: Kinetic Art (ages 12-15)

Explore force and motion as we apply scientific principles of equilibrium, stability, center of balance, and gravity to our focused engineering and tinkering time together. Engaging challenges at the start of each in-person session will allow us to gain familiarity with the properties of the materials we have to build with, and help generate ideas on how they may be integrated into larger projects, as we engineer kinetic sculptures and mechanisms.

Wednesdays, 10am-12pm, November 4, 11, and 18.

12-15 year olds

Limit: 8 participants
