The Montshire Museum of Science forges and empowers lifelong learners through engagement with science.

The Montshire Museum of Science is an interactive science center in Norwich, Vermont, with more than 150 hands-on exhibits relating to the natural and physical sciences, ecology, and technology. Outdoors, visitors can explore nature trails and exhibits on wind, water, and sound in David Goudy Science Park. Visiting exhibitions, educational programs, and special events are offered throughout the year.

The Montshire Museum of Science is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is supported by admission, membership, grants, and charitable contributions.

Montshire Museum of Science Announces New Director of Exhibits

Sherlock Terry is named the new Director of Exhibits at the Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, Vermont, beginning March 1.

Terry has worked in museums as an exhibit developer and consultant for more than 15 years. Terry joined the Montshire in 2011 and has been serving as the Assistant Director of Exhibits. He has led the development of seven in-house exhibitions, sourced and contracted rental exhibitions, and participated in long-range Museum planning efforts. During his tenure at the Museum, he has advanced the Montshire’s reach and influence through his involvement with national grants and his contribution to international and national conferences, where he has shared his expertise as a speaker on various industry panels. Outside of his work at the Montshire, he has taught college courses, led the development of a school playground, and curated public events and exhibitions. Terry received a B.F.A. in painting and drawing from Concordia University in Montreal and an M.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of New Mexico.
