
The Montshire Museum's exhibit galleries and outdoor areas provide a unique setting that will transform your function into a memorable event. The Museum is conveniently located in Norwich, Vermont, just off I-91 at exit 13, and across the Connecticut River from Hanover, New Hampshire, and Dartmouth College.
With three different options to choose from, the Montshire Museum of Science can accommodate from 25 to 450 people, making it the perfect venue for:

From October 1, 2009 through January 7, 2010, the Montshire is hosting Dinosaur Days. As a result, the Community Room will not be available from September 21, 2009 to January 11, 2010 for rentals or use by nonprofits. Please contact us for more details if you are interested in renting the Museum during that time. Thank you.
Montshire Community Room— Combine a visit to the Museum with an exclusive event for your guests. Located on the first floor of the Museum, the Community Room can comfortably accommodate up to 125 people. Chairs, tables, a drop-down projection screen, and a kitchen are available for your use. Select a caterer from the Museum's approved list for your food service needs. Community Room rental is available Saturdays and Sundays, from 2 to 5 p.m. Evening use of the Community Room is available to Montshire Corporate Associate (MCA) members, approved nonprofit organizations, and is included when renting the Indoor Exhibit Galleries.
Indoor Exhibit Galleries—The main Museum building, with two stories of fascinating hands-on exhibits, a central atrium, and a vaulted ceiling, creates a setting that exudes both grandeur and intimacy. The Indoor Exhibit Galleries can accommodate 450 guests. Rental of the Indoor Exhibit Galleries is available from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and includes use of the Community Room and kitchen.
Science Park—Include Science Park (May - October) when you rent the Indoor Exhibit Galleries. Step out the back door of the Museum to intriguing outdoor exhibits, a lovely terrace, and nature trails along the banks of the Connecticut River. A truly spectacular setting!
