The Montshire Museum of Science has over 125 exciting exhibits relating to the natural and physical sciences. The Montshire is located on a 110-acre site along the Connecticut River. The Museum is self-guided and is largely handicapped accessible.
January 24–April 5, 2015 —Small yet abundant, with complex and wildly diverse lifestyles, ants are everywhere, living lives mostly hidden from our view. What if we could see into their world...on their level? What would we learn? What parallels could we draw between them and us?
A wooly mammoth with fur that is a foot thick – a tiny horse that bounds like an antelope – a seven foot tall carnivore that has the head of a giant warthog; meet them all at the Montshire Museum of Science this summer.
